  As communication advisor for the Norwegian Red Cross, I worked with both internal and external communications. I was also the editor for three different newsletters, which I also created content for. I worked both strategically and operationally to reach our goals for volunteer communications. I was responsible for creating content showcasing the work of our volunteers as well as providing communications for several big digital projects affecting our volunteers. I provided communication support for the president and other senior members within the organization. In addition, I worked with press relations, both active and reactive. Part of the job was answering enquiries from the media, finding the appropriate spokesperson and supporting them throughout the process.
