Elise formed an integral part of the marketing team whilst undertaking her internship at Rhubarb. Her attitude to business and work life was highly focused and commendable. She worked on several major marketing campaigns and activities from helping to organise a large event for 550 people at the Royal Albert Hall for key stakeholders and opinion leaders to press outreach programmes and managing social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. She is an articulate communicator with excellent English skills and a practical approach to marketing strategies and projects. Her can do attitude meant no job was too big or small which greatly assisted the team and company. I would highly recommend her skill-set and friendly personality.

As marketing intern I was responsible for the maintenance and development of all social media sites. i.e. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare & google+. I was also responsible for writing Press Releases and news articles to be uploaded to the website, sent to Press Offices, and social media sites. I liaised with and developed sales promotions for many of the bars, restaurants and venues in the "rhubarb" umbrella. I also undertook general office responsibilities, such as holiday cards, printing flyers, and developing 500+ event guests lists. I accompanied the Head of Marketing to Press Events where we were responsible for representing the "rhubarb" brand and spreading awareness. Show less
