During the summer of 2021, I ran a 202k business in Ladysmith Vancouver Island. I sourced leads, booked estimates, and sold jobs to clients. I used different hiring platforms to build my team of 6. Organization and scheduling were key, which I also had to manage. Last but not least I had to make sure production ran smoothly and for the most part, it did. For the summer of 2020 I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the Student Works Painting team. I had an undiscovered love for painting. I learned to paint hardy board, trim, doors, and interiors. I worked on over 15 houses from June 19 to August 27. Within the first 2 weeks of working for Student Works, I was promoted to Crew Chief. My responsibility's increased, I managed the client/painter relation, maintained my team's time management to make sure we were hitting our goals, and carried painting supplies. Show less
