I had the pleasure of collaborating and planning with Elise during her time at Ourschool where we brought to life events and experiences showcasing careers pathways in construction to high school students both in person and virtually. Elise is diligent, thoughtful and passionate in her work and brought her knowledge of what matters to students to ensure there was maximal impact. Her passion for community and the environment was inspiring, she had a wonderful way with words and her enthusiasm was infectious.

Managing the set-up of alumni development in schools through the Ourschool program, Australia's first service to help state secondary schools establish and grow their alumni communities. Working intensely with the following schools: Fountain Gate Secondary College, Mount Waverley Secondary College and Keysborough College (including foundation schools of Heatherhill, Coomoora, Chandler and Springvale High / Secondary Colleges ). Also delivering professional development and consultation to multiple state secondary schools via workshops and school visits.

Responsible for reinvigorating alumni relations as part of the Development Team with a particular focus on 'young alumni' and strengthening links between alumni and the current students. The core of this development work was in line with the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians' Association Mission which is to 'reach out, connect, support current and past students' of the School in variety of ways. My work was a combination of: initiating and managing multiple online platforms including: Facebook, LinkedIn and website, organising and hosting events including Centenary celebrations, career-networking and an extensive reunion program, writing curriculum and facilitating alumni workshops and in-class sessions to benefit current students, tracking alumni and detailing databases to ensure future engagement, initiating and driving fundraising campaigns and encouraging philanthropy. The role required regular reporting and communicating with all stakeholders of the School and therefore developed PR, marketing and communication skills.I thoroughly enjoyed 'reaching, connecting & supporting' alumni locally, interstate and internationally and advocating this ethos within the broader School community.
