As a CX Officer, engaging with the community as well as, delivering quality customer services, handling local government queries, performing digital strategy and encouraging workplace culture improvement is all part of my role at ARC. I am lucky to be able to have experience in working at several different local government Centres. Examples: Armidale Civic Administration Building, Library and Visitor Information Centre and Guyra Civic Administration Building and Library. My focus is to discover/promote best practice for all ARC's employees whilst communicating with customers and the community. Building customer rapport and engaging with our regional community is my favourite part of the role.

Working at Service NSW is life changing and seems to get better as our team aims to reach for high expectations and we gain better quality skills than world-class service standards. This is the best organisation to work for in the world, as we experience positive energized culture within our Service Centres. Service NSW is supportive to staff and customers allowing success to grow within more transactions, services, centres, circle of service ideas and themselves. My aim is difficult, as I am currently trying to find areas of improvement. I target to support and to demonstrate Service NSW staff understanding how to reach their "Top Drive". Service NSW staff are kindly responsive and empatheticly are willing to lend an ear to our customers for ideas on ways we can help reduce hardship within the community.

Working within an extremely busy store, multitasking and team effort was essential to learn and perform professionally though personally. Our team are highly qualified in keeping regulars, tourist, workers, etc beyond satisfied with their purchased products and service delivery. I thoroughly enjoy working at the Pioneer Tavern as a Bar and Gaming Attendant / Waitress and Barista. This role includes professional and personalised customer service. Getting to know regular customers and gathering feedback from first time customers are essential. Also efficiency and cleanliness are priorities as meals and beverages are expected on time and well presented. The Pioneer Tavern require multi-skilled and qualified employees as there are strict laws to be followed by NSW Liquor and Gaming acts and ability to work in all departments is needed.

Working at the Eltham Hotel as a Bar and Gaming Attendant / Waitress and Barista has been one of the most enjoyable place of employment yet. For many reasons, the most outstanding are the personalised relationships between staff and customers. As this was my first place of employment in the Northern Rivers, The Eltham Hotel changed me personally from knowing no one to walking down the streets of Lismore or Byron Bay capable of confidently approaching many friendly faces of the Northern Rivers. Not only customers were recognising me, also staff and owners of other businesses like the Nimbin Bus Tours, Cafes and Bars close by and even people delivering products to the hotel always engaged interpersonally with my bubbly nature. This is a trait that I have carried with me throughout my whole working career and becoming an asset to this business was felt. Also having tour buses stop in everyday from Byron Bay to Nimbin has given me experience and confidence to communicate profoundly with customers of multi-cultural backgrounds.

After my 6 month employment appraisal, my employer and I discussed where my strengths and abilities are best performed. We both thoroughly agreed that my performance in customer service is naturally outstanding and would be best placed in both catering and operations. In June 2013 I was offered full time employment and also took this opportunity. I understood how challenging each job role promotions were as for these opportunities were extremely rare for someone of my age at the time (16-18).

After performing work experience here, I was offered employment and was the best opportunity I took for my career. As the more loyal and skillful I became; so did my employer by allowing me to experience all departments in reception, administration, promotions, functions, catering, and also bar, gaming and cashier operations.

My first place of employment was at Cosmetics Plus Strathpine. Here is where I learnt how a workplace operates and began my profession towards performing customer service. I was recognised as a efficient, reliable, easy-going employee and was offered to work at other busier stores such as Chermside and North Lakes, all located in North of Brisbane. I was offered lots of opportunities here such as becoming a body piercer and store assistant manager. Unfortunately I had to turn them down as I was dedicated to graduating school, participate in TAFE, and also further my career at Norths, where I was working at the same time. I loved the team and customers at Cosmetics Plus but I started to have other priorities at that point in time.
