SciLifeLab is a Swedish national resource of unique technologies and expertise applied in the context of research in life science but also offered as facilities services to academia, industry and healthcare. Following SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, I have partecipated in an effort to develop a new serology assay which has been used to screen so far 200,000 serum/plasma/saliva/CSF samples with the aim to provide serological results to individuals and to run SARS-CoV-2 research. Other main activities are designing and carry on of translational studies aimed to identify protein biomarkers in body fluids in the context of prostate cancer, traumatic brain injury and autoimmune diseases. Among all, I am working within the RELENT & HELICAL Consortia (Horizon 2020), two EU efforts aimed to personalize treatment for vasculitis and related conditions.Among my main tasks is:- Project coordination and management- PhD and Master students supervision- Study design and experimental planning - Produce, process, and communicate study results- Present results to scientists, clinicians, and students- Lecture at Master courses in Affinity Proteomics - Organizing courses directed to scientists within academia and private sector- Supervising students
