I am currently doing a joined Postdoc on the laboratory of Dr. Mauro GAYA at the CIML and Dr. Marie-Pierre VALIGNAT at the LAI thanks to the Postdoctoral fellowship of CENTURI. My research focuses on B cells in infectious diseases as well as their migratory behavior in vivo and in vitro. This collaboration allows me to gain experience in biophysics and explore new ways of analyzing immune functions. I joined the lab of Sophie Ugolini at the CIML, which studies the regulation of immune functions by the nervous system. My Ph.D. focused on the impact of stress hormones, such as adrenaline and corticoids, on NK cell functions.

My university studies in Biochemistry did not provide me with a profound background in immunology, which I was aiming at working in. In addition, going abroad is an important feature of research life. Therefore, I joined the lab of Eric Vivier at the CIML in Marseille, France with an ERASMUS+ fellowship.

I joined the group of Douglas Grubb at the department of molecular signal processing at the IPB, to gather work experience already during my University studies. I was working on the characterization of proteins involved in protecting Arabidopsis thaliana against worms. My tasks included cloning and expression of proteins and the kinetic characterization of their substrate turnover.
