I also updated numerous iterations of the Statement of Work for the follow-on Polar Epsilon Implementation project.As the official "Security Officer" for the project, my responsibilities were to understand everything these is know about licensing a RADARSAT-2 Network Station to be allowed to receive and process data (interface with our GeoSpatial group) and Data Protection Requirements as mandated by the Government of Canada.

The POD project was a software component for the Bus software on the RADARSAT-2 Program which calculates the position of the RADARSAT-2 Soacecraft to within an accuracy of 20 m. It involved prototyping, software requirements analysis, design development, testing and successful delivery of the product to the customer.

In my first team lead role, I was responsible for managing a team of 8 people developing software for the Mobile Remote Service Base System (MBS), a Canadian component of the International Space Station (ISS). I led the MBS team from Requirements Analysis to a successful Acceptance Review by the customer. I supervised the technical work allocated to team members and ensured that work was being performed according to plan and the stringent coding standards and unit testing which are applicable for man-qualified flight software. I planned the schedule, baseline, budget and resources for the entire MBS project.As a System Engineer Team Member, I analysed functionality change requested by the customer, corrected the Software Requirements Specification and reviewed the corresponding code and test changes. I was also responsible for providing technical support for the Operation & Control Software (OCS) containing the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) aka Canadarm2 functionality.As a Software Engineer Team Member, I developed Software Requirements Specification for the Mobile Remote Service Base System (MBS) functionality using the System Stimulus Response technique. I coded and documented the Latching End Effector functionality for the MBS and tested several component software units for the Space Station Remote Manipulator System/ Canadarm2 related functionality.
