During this research project course, I am developing a conductance-based model of fast spiking interneurons in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex of Macaque monkeys using ex-vivo whole cell slice electrophysiological data. I have gained experience working with XPPAUT, a freeware by Bard Ermentrout and python, as well as online databases such as channelpedia.
