During this research project course, I am developing a conductance-based model of fast spiking interneurons in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex of Macaque monkeys using ex-vivo whole cell slice electrophysiological data. I have gained experience working with XPPAUT, a freeware by Bard Ermentrout and python, as well as online databases such as channelpedia. • Sep 2018 - Aug 2021

I coached competitive and recreational athletes and oversaw summer camps. As a gymnastics coach, I helped children (ages 4-14) acquire skills, meet their goals. I mentored coaches-in-training. I dedicated additional time outside the gym to plan effective and safe classes. I coached online (zoom) and I implemented COVID protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
