  TransferMex provides employers with the ability to setup their H2 workers with direct deposit, the same as they would for domestic workers. This direct deposit account is linked to US-bank issued debit/ATM card, as well as a mobile app installed on the workers phone. The mobile app can be used to send funds to Mexico to any of 10,000 cash pickup locations instantly. We save the workers a ton in check cashing and transfer fees. Compared to Western Union, we are much cheaper ($1 vs. $9) and save a trip to the nearest check cashing place, as everything can be done directly on the workers phone. There is no cost to the employer to have their workers enroll, and they will likely save money and complexity from not having to cut checks. (~$4 per check.) Some ancillary benefits are the ability to pay workers their final check after they have returned to Mexico, as well as proof of departure if the worker uses the card in MX after the contract ends. TransferMex handles all the onboarding and training of workers (though typically little is required.)
