During the time I have known Elisa, she has been honest and trustworthy. She is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected of her. She is respectful of her superiors and gets along well with her classmates. I recall several occasions when Elisa would stay late to complete a project that had a deadline. During the time we worked together, she was often given additional responsibilities and assumed a leadership role while encouraging others on her team. During my internship at FIDA Solutions I gained a clearer understanding of what working in a company means and succeeded in finding my role in the team. I was working everyday towards bring my contribution to the company's projects by solving tasks, bringing new ideas and finding optimal solutions to our challenges. Being part of a small, reliable, strong and enthusiastic team helped me improve my team-work skills attained during the university projects I took part in. The experience as a whole was an eye-opener and helped me find a new interest in the potential of Geographic Information Systems. Show less

As an Exchange Participant Manager my main responsibility was helping Master's degree students find internships around the world. This came along with keeping their motivation high amid rejections, presenting them with internship opportunities to cater to their preferences and also convince them to challenge themselves in terms of locations of their internship. All the work put into helping the students paid off tenfold through the people in the organization and the friendships we've formed. This experience definitely helped me expand my network and better connect with different cultures. My collaborations with our various customers were mutually beneficial, with my having the chance to improve my communication skills and critical thinking. Show less
