100 Shapes are a digital agency with a focus on Enterprise UX. During my time here some of the projects I’ve worked on have included:UX Designer - ITV Technology ModernisationWith ITV I worked as the sole UX designer on an agile product team, developing internal business tools as part of a wider technology modernisation initiative. Navigating through a deep ecosystem and complicated workflows, I worked closely with stakeholders and developers to identify and deliver product features that have improved user productivity, changing ways of working in line with higher business objectives. 10 week course that introduces core user experience design skills whilst producing projects to apply these new processes. With regular presentations, group work, agile methodology, co-creation sessions and daily stand-ups. Blume (Client Project) 2 Week Sprint Blume are a company that provide short term contract work targeted at users aged over 50. Blume approached us with hopes of driving more of the site’s visitors to sign up to the Blume service. Analytics showed that many of the existing site’s visitors were dropping out at the first page of the signup process. My team and I decided to frame our two week sprint around discovering exactly why users weren’t progressing past this stage, then use this to examine and restructure the current sign up process. The solution focused on providing an intuitive sign up process that made the mature user group feel comfortable disclosing personal information with emphasis on accessibility considerations. TimeOut Social Network (Concept Project) 2 Week Sprint Me and my team of 2 colleagues were tasked with designing a social networking feature for the existing TimeOut app within a 2 week sprint. Through our user research and contextual inquiry, we discovered that users already hold strong affinities to existing social media giants. Our solution utilised this finding by focusing on the way Time Out’s content could be integrated within existing social apps for group event planning. Toyshop E-commerce Experience (Concept Project) 2 Week Sprint During this 2 week sprint, I was tasked with designing an e-commerce platform for a local toyshop. Through my research, I discovered that existing users of the physical store value the expert staff knowledge and advice. I proposed a solution that centered the user experience on continuing the sense of expertise and curation throughout the platform. Whilst also providing an efficient and user friendly interface in order to remain competitive with other larger online retailers. Show less
