  As an employee of the Zeeuws Archives I have had several tasks assigned to me. I worked on the Zeeland part of the national registry of actors (all the different organisations in the Netherlands). I was in charge of checking dates, adding missing information and making sure that the information that was present was complete and accurate. This registry will make it easier for people to search in the huge database of organisations and help them find what they are looking for. Occasionally I had to handle old documents (1700s) to change the protective covers. I did this with the utmost care to ensure the documents wouldn't get damaged. I also did some translating work, translating parts of the website from Dutch to English, making it more accessible for those who don't understand Dutch.

  At the local theater "De Schouwburg" I worked together in a team to provide guests of the theater with a pleasant night out. I served drinks before, during and after shows and also helped with the cleaning up after. Sometimes it would be very busy, but working with a team under those conditions gave me a lot of experience in stressful situations and how to communicate with each other effectively in a scenario where it would be very loud and crowded.
