  Plan work assignments by studying drawings, blueprints, work instructions and manuals. Program parts from blueprints and work instructions to accomplish machining in the most efficient manner. Set up/ select equipment and proper tools to accomplish machining the item. Document production rates and tooling changes by completing records and input into computerized data collection system.
