GFR hired me as their corporate chef and marketing manager. As the corporate chef I have worked around the Pacific North West training and educating kitchen staffs in operation and care of their kitchen equipment. I have also worked with clients in research and development of method of operation for specific menu items to best utilize their equipments capabilities.As the marketing manager I have been responsible for developing the online presence. I have continued to develop the GFR website with new material and incorporate the website with social media such as Facebook. I am also responsible for creating literature, flyers and any other print media. This media is primarily developed with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher. I also helped to develop email marketing campaigns utilizing Constant Contact and Mail Chimp.Internally I work doing customer service via price quoting, purchase order processing. Quotation included reviewing 114000 specifications, floor plan drawings, and working with food service design consultants. In response to specific technical questions I have built a relationship with represented factories around the country. I also function as the company IT department by administering the email server, backup server and any other technology related issue from purchasing new technology to repairing and updating PCs. GFR also has a warehouse in which they distribute commercial microwaves I am solely responsible for all shipping needs from working with freight carriers, picking and organizing orders on pallets and using the fork lift to load the truck.
