I worked as outside staff for the Grand Canyon University Golf Course. In this position I practiced customer service, as I had the first interaction with the customers before management did. The job included multiple demands like first always making sure the customers are taken care of by helping unload golf bags from their cars into the carts, and making sure they get set up for a great round of golf. Then I also took care of course management like picking up range balls, cleaning out trash, washing the carts and more. One time specifically where I took initiate and went above and beyond is on a super hot day in Phoenix a cart broke down for a foursome while on the course. After I brought them a new cart I noticed they ran out of water. They had already passed the coolers and could not backtrack holes, so they would have to wait till they played through. I then offered to go and fill their water bottles and add ice so that they stay cold. They were super thankful especially because how hot it was that day. Show less

I worked as a sales associate on the floor. This was a very fast paced environment where I was always moving and on my feet all day. Not only was I responsible for constant restock and organization of the floor, but also with engaging in customers and helping them in their shopping experience. For the summer that I worked there I was ranked 2nd for Nike membership sales. This Job the was all about customer service and customer relations. I worked as a sales associate on the floor.
