As a vehicle validation/integration lead, I took charge in driving the team to qualify the company's product for homologation and road-worthiness. Defining and segregating between compliance requirements and product quality requirements, I work with internal stakeholders to define the technical risk appetite the company is willing to bear. Working closely with the individual technical teams, I ensure cross discipline/system requirements are considered and not neglected. Identifying critical issues/risk early to conduct risk mitigation factors to ensure timeline and BOM cost is kept within the allocated budget. Additionally, I act as a technical lead when handling external suppliers and collaborators ensuring Scorpio Electric's interest is always considered. I act as a checkpoint between external parties and Scorpio Electric to ensure that high level technical questions are answered before the individual technical leads are involved to ensure efficiency and effective work output for Scorpio Electric's technical team. I was also pivotal in assisting the management team in defining a proper working structure for the technical team and clearly differentiating technical milestones. Mechanical Design Engineer

As a mechanical design engineer in a turn-key solution-providing company, my role involves planning and executing engineering design work. From requirements gathering to customer's product acceptance test, I play a pivotal role as an engineer for various design work applications.My job scope covers the design, fabrication and assembling of engineering systems that involves heavy cross disciplinary engagement with software (front end/back end), electrical and mechanical disciplines. I also specialise in mechanical structural design and load analysis for dynamic use-case. I am competent in the use of Solidworks, Finite Element Analysis Software (ANSYS).Rapid prototyping and design for intricate assemblies are one of my key strengths. With knowledge in the use of CNC programming software and wide range in fabrication machines (e.g. 3D printing, sheet metal works, metal work tools), I have designed and delivered over 200 different mechanical components for over 15 projects of different applications. With the intense environment I work in, I have learnt to cope and pick up relevant skill sets fast when required.I am also heavily involved in validating engineering technical standards required for different projects. From designing and verifying ingress protection level for specific engineering products to qualifying certain products for mil-std testing, I have familiarized myself in designing mechanical components to these standards.My other areas of engineering experience includes, Robotic Cartesian Systems for ASRS applications and weight critical designing (e.g. drones). I am familiar in designing test set-ups to conduct NDT on products for specific standard(s) verification.
