I am a public nurse. I am responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating school health services within the context of a coordinated school health program, which includes providing a safe and healthy environment for the pediatric population and community.I see about 40 children everyday for several conditions including chronic health conditions such as asthma, seizure, allergies, ADHD, tube feeding. I also see several students for acute health conditions including broken, fractured bones, injuries, bleeding, fever, flu, cold, throwing up and so on. I also see children for mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
