Forwarding: - Building up quotations for shipments, either FOB, CFR or door to door and submitting them to the clients, selecting the best quotation to the client depending on freight rate, transit time and discharging fees at discharging port. - Coordination between the different parties involved in the shipment for a smooth operation, including agents at destination or departure depending on the shipment, the clients and clearing agent as well as the carriers. - Following up every step of the way in door to door shipments to avoid wasting time and insuring container will arrive at destination in the least time possible. Shipping: - Preparing PDA (pro-forma Disbursement Account) for the vessel. - Preparing all needed documents to be presented by the vessel and as as agents for the vessel to the port authorities. - Coordinating with the vessels' principals concerning the NOR, time sheet and other documents needed by the agents for the call of the vessel at Beirut port. - Preparing the final DA (Disbursement Account) in order to finalise the vessels' account vis-a-vis vessels' principals.
