      • Sep 2022 - Present

As a project assistant, I am tasked with a wide range of duties including research, writing, publishing, social media management, and event organizing. I was a speaker and panelist at a PSSI event entitled "Capital Markets Dimensions of Forced Labor Trafficking", at which I addressed the current state of European legislation regarding this matter. Focused in particular on China and its investment practices linked to Europe, key research areas include: (a) nexus of emerging technologies and sanctions/investment bans; (b) capital markets transparency; and (c) human rights, national security, and investor protection.

As an assistant at the World Water Week, I helped ensure the Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) ran smoothly, through overseeing the schedules of over 60 youths from 36 countries. Beyond these duties as an assistant, I was further tasked with taking photographs of the youths and their activities, for use by SIWI's communications and marketing departments. I was also asked to create social media posts on both Facebook and Instagram for their respective Stockholm Junior Water Prize pages. Finally, I worked in close cooperation with the Communications department throughout, delivering written pieces alongside photographs.

    • Substitute Teacher
      • Aug 2020 - Jun 2021

As a substitute teacher, I was available to step in at short notice to teach any topic in classes from Kindergarten to grade 5. I have primarily worked as a homeroom teacher, but was often called on to teach English and Swedish as a second language, music, or physical education and health, as well as to support the pre- and after-school learning programmes. I really enjoy this fast-paced work, which demands creativity and improvisation, and I emphasize being attentive to each child's needs to achieve both academic and emotional growth.

    • English Teacher
      • Aug 2017 - Jan 2018

I worked for six months as an English teacher in southern China, near the border with Macao. I taught English for the entire third grade at the school, meaning 800 students divided into 20 classes. In my lessons, I had a lot of freedom to choose what and how to teach, which required an inventive mind to come up with different games and activities to keep all the students focused, stimulated, and entertained. And when games did not work as hoped, a strong improvisational ability was needed. I worked for six months as an English teacher in southern China, near the border with Macao.
