  In the research group of Prof. Varinder Aggarwal. • Successfully developed a practically difficult, catalytic asymmetric Diels-Alder methodology, turning the previously unreliable method into a robust, high yielding and highly selective process. • Successfully prepared a number of complex, chiral, sulphur-containing heterocycles for testing as asymmetric organocatalysts – first synthesis of the most robust and enantioselective structure to date. • Prepared several research proposals for submission to funding organisations.
