I have worked with Elena Giulia Cannata on the second and third season of the TV show Talking Tom and friends. Elena started working at Arx Anima as a Layout Artist and eventually she was promoted to Layout Lead by his supervisor as a consequence of her great job during the production. I had the opportunity of directing Elena in 11 episodes. Every single episode in Talking Tom is different from the others: different genres, different visual styles and different narration. We have worked since the typical sitcom scenes in which we had to push the comedy with camera; to horror and full action scenes in which the episode demands a completely different narration, faster and more frenetic. Very challenging show in terms of Layout and I have to say that Elena understood this challenge perfectly well. She did his best in order to fulfill the high expectations of directors in every episode. It is hard to choose only one scene or episode in which Elena has highlighted, because many of them come to my mind. But it was very nice from her side when I purposed in the episode Hank, the Slayer a really challenging sequence shot with a huge camera movement which it was unaffordable for the production and she persoally assumed the challenge and the responsability of the shot because she wanted to do it. But it's impossible to forget her beautiful jobs in other scenes, like pirate fight in the episode The music Video or the Angela's nightmare in Angela's lie. She made the episodes just better. Personally, I have enjoyed a lot working with Elena, moving cameras, creating nice compositions and working on staging together. Sometimes I have been really picky and she has always offered me his best mood and attitudes to achieve what I expected from the shot and the scene. And I am really grateful for that. No wonder that she is a really good profesional and colleague. Elena has my highest recommendation and I look forward to meet him in new projects in the future.
