  • Research and academic work: PhD Thesis: “Exploring New Approaches in Urban Water Governance: Case Studies in Mediterranean Areas”. The thesis promotes and supports an innovative research framework to deal with urban water cycle challenges in fast-growing tourist cities. • Worked with my group of research GRATS, led by Professor David Sauri’ (UAB, Spain), on water resource management, tourism development strategy in the Mediterranean including impact and influence analysis of hotels, golf and swimming pools and tourist facility developments, water, tourism and climate change relations. • Worked with Professor Giuseppe Piperata, Department of Design and Planning in Complex Environment (IUAV, Italy) on water policy and governance. • Collected data and information, literature review of scientific, technical and political documents; • Preparation of semi-structured interview • Conduced fieldwork in Italy, Spain and Greece to collect data/information, to work with specialists, universities, experts and policy makers in water and tourism sector; • Visiting Researcher at the Cranfield Water Science Institute, Cranfield University, UK. • Written scientific articles published in national and international journals; • Communicated Ph.D. outcomes at international and national conferences; • Co-taught courses (in Italian, English, Spanish and Catalan) on Geography and Public Policies to undergraduates and Master's students.
