Evaluation of the most appropriate analysis plan based on the purpose of the investigation: determination of the composition of the metal alloy, characterization of dyes on tapestries, canvases or frescoes, identification of retouching, gilding, previous restoration interventions and evaluation of the relevance of the work. Both destructive and non-destructive techniques were used (Raman, XRF, ftIR, HPLC-Q-TOF-MS, optical microscopy), evaluating from time to time the state of conservation of the work, the times available for the delivery of the work and the question posed by the Restoration Laboratories. The analyses were performed in the laboratory when possible, otherwise on site (scaffolding, restoration laboratories) using portable instruments. Active collaboration with other departments and laboratories allowed the work to be carried out smoothly, thanks to excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The processing of the experimental data, the statistical processing of the data and the writing of reports and technical reports were carried out in detail and in compliance with the deadlines.
