I started working on the Shakespeare School Facebook page in January 2011. At that point they were my former employer, as I used to be a teacher there till June 2010, but I left Bucharest on account of family issues, on good terms, so I continued to write blog entries/other articles for them. The Facebook admin was a trial at first, just but soon realized I loved coming up with content and the page grew from 3000+ fans to over 24,000 and counting. I have always considered that teaching English should be a fun process - especially nowadays - and the current trend is to ”EduTain” children & teens by giving them something fun and educational to look at. Posting fun & inspirational posts has to do with a bit of teaching, a bit of child psychology and a bit of journalism. Actually it is a bit of everything I love doing. Besides our regular promotional material/ads, on the official Shakespeare School page we educate teens and parents alike to look for the useful but fun ways of learning English, through links, videos, magazine articles and inspirational posts. We challenge them to answer different questions on British culture and civilization.In the meantime I took charge of another page, CELTA Training Romania, with the same employer. . Show less
