Ikusi is a company with over 40 years of industry experience, offering several mature solutions for the airport sector and smart cities. One of the current strategies is focused on endowing ikusi solutions with data science based functionalities. I am leading this line within the company. ➔ Product Owner of Data Science & Big Data team (Scrum, Jira). One of its objectives is to build a corporate platform for advanced analytics with its data lake, tools and big data technologies. ➔ Leading several data science projects: - Purchasing categorizer and market basket analysis for the marketing and commercial area of airports. - Prediction of bicycle availability at the city’s municipal bike service for our urban platform. - Parking occupancy prediction for our urban platform. - Flight linker: A tool that allows the airport to link arrival flights with departure flights in tactical planning stage. ➔ Participating in the technical part of several projects: - Monitoring passenger flows in the airport terminal through facial recognition. - Optimization of stand allocation in airports. ➔ Supervisor of PhD student within Industrial Doctorate in collaboration with Tecnalia and University of the Basque Country.

➔ Acting as a data scientist for Customer Analytics Team working on several projects: - Digital Onboarding: Segmentation of new digital clients of the bank using their data from social networks to propose personalized onboarding (Python, Hive, Impala, bash). - Pricing Strategy Optimization: A methodology to find a pricing strategy for customers to maximize revenue and retention, developed for home insurance renewal portfolio (R, bash). - Value Enterprises: The first piece of a tool to support the commercial management of small and medium-sized enterprises (R, Hive, Impala). - Digital Sales: Advance analysis of customer journey in BBVA (R, Hive, Impala, Tableau). - Bayesian A/B Testing: A tool created for digital sales department to improve methodology of A/B Testing on the web and app of BBVA (Python, Hive, Impala, Tableau). ➔ Coordinator of the monthly Data Science Meetups, a virtual meeting to exchange ideas about the application of data science to BBVA projects in different business units and countries. ➔ Tutor and mentor for BBVA employees of the internal educational program “From Data Miner to Data Scientist”, which helps to learn new tools and fundamentals of machine learning. Practitioners included the executive team, and the people who use data-driven decisions. ➔ Research project in collaboration with Universidad Carlos III: Reinforcement learning for pricing strategy optimization in the insurance industry.
