I mentored Elena as part of the RIBA Student Mentoring programme. Elena was, reliable and engaged throughout. She demonstrated keen interest in our work, taking notes and asking thought provoking questions to broaden her knowledge. We organised calls with various members of the project team including clients, planning consultants, quantity surveyors and engineers. Elena engaged with them to find out more about their specific roles in the industry. Elena would benefit from having a little more confidence in this engagement, however I am sure this will come with continued experience. I believe Elena will be a valuable asset to any practice.
