      An award-winning duo of theatre makers, EBKM have presented work together since 2017. They make high quality, socially minded, formally innovative contemporary theatre for a range of audiences in New Zealand, and they develop their work through extensive research and in consultation with audiences, social agencies and academics. Eleanor Bishop is a director and writer and Karin McCracken is a writer and performer. Their award-winning works include Body Double (co-created w/ Julia Croft, BATS STAB Commission, Auckland Arts Festival/Silo Theatre, Wellington Theatre Award Production of the Year 2017), Jane Doe (NZ touring, Edinburgh Fringe, Wellington Theatre Award Most Original Production 2018), Yes Yes Yes (Auckland Theatre Award Excellence in Production, Wellington Theatre Award Excellence in Theatre for Social Change and Outstanding Performance (Karin McCracken) 2019) and Aliens & Anorexia (adapted from the book by Chris Kraus, forthcoming).       The PlayGround Collective is a unique collaboration between founding members Robin Kerr, Eli Kent and Eleanor Bishop. A theatre company, based in New Zealand, they produce innovative and imaginative original work. Drawing on a set of unique influences that range from classic theatre forms to more modern, they create shows that weave together story, music, movement and visuals. Their work has toured extensively across New Zealand, to the USA as part of The New Zealand New Performance Festival at La Mama, and the United Kingdom to London's Vault Festival. In 9 years the company has created 9 works and won a total of 14 Awards.
