  In my current role as a course ambassador, I am required provide experience of the course, opportunities my friends and I have on the course and answer questions on course related topics such as, assessment types and life as a student. Through speaking to prospective students and their parents about my course I developed great communicative skills, allowing me to gain confidence in public speaking and develop useful people skills. As well as this, it has let expand my knowledge of my course and the Human Geography and Planning sectors outside of my course curriculum.

  Over the two years I worked in Morrison’s I was placed in two separate areas of the store. Whilst working my first year as a customer assistant on the shop floor, organizing deliveries and answering customer enquiries, I improved my organization skills and developed great customer service. In my second year in the store, I was placed in the café. As well improving my mathematics and business skills through doing stocks and working the till, it allowed me to develop excellent time problem solving skills, through having to create solutions to issues caused incorrect deliveries and orders.
