Independent Research - Obesity and Soft Drink Campaign
-
Jan 2014 - May 2014
In America I broadened my practical skills by launching a campaign focusing on the sugar content of soft drinks. The campaign was set up around the University and had a primary goal to reduce the amount of soft drinks consumed on campus. Throughout this period I formed relationships with the director of dining, the schools nutritionist and kitchen staff members who assisted me. This experience broadened my knowledge into the policies surrounding food and drinks industries in America, as well as managing a large project for one person. Show less
