  I founded Made With Hope in 2013 when I was 23 years old from my bedroom. My ambition was to help empower children living in extreme poverty and I learned that providing quality education and health facilities can be an extremely impactful way to achieve this. I was adamant we would not be a charity that had a "western saviour" complex, instead partnering with local communities and following their lead with what their children needed. Since 2013 we've raised over £500,000 and supported over 5,000 children living in rural Tanzania. We are a completely voluntary-led organisation so 100% of the donations go to our projects in Tanzania. My role in the charity is fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, corporate fundraising, donor stewardship and communicating with our partner organisation in Tanzania.
