      • 1995 - Present

I have lived in Mexico for 25 years and am an immigrant of that country and a citizen of the United States. I have worked in both countries in a variety of teaching positions as well as done translating and interpreting in business, education and medical affairs. The underlying strength of my translation work reflects a sensitivity to a diverse mix of audiences, among them: immigrant parents of students, panels of general and special education experts, school administrators, medical doctors, patients, realtors, tenants, lawyers, judges, defendants, to name a few. This work has been done from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. In addition, I have tutored small private groups and designed and taught profession-specific language curriculum for various industry and hospital groups in both Mexico and the U.S. Show less
