In 2010 I joined the Jigsaw Playgroup management committee. Having been secretary for a couple of years, I became chair in 2012 and am Ofsted's Nominated Person for the setting. I instigated the reincorporation of the charity into a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, the structure of which limits the liability of the trustees and the renaming of the charity to Jigsaw Preschool. I am responsible for submitting and checking payrolls, organising and chairing meetings, strategic planning and supervising senior staff. I initially set the group up with another mum, but I have run it on my own for the last few years. I led the singing at this baby and toddler music group.
