Developed a successful high-end ecotourism lodge (overseeing design and construction) to generate funds for all MPA operations, scientific research, M&E and extensive education programs (with schools, fisher communities etc). Focused on CBNRM & capacity building, island management was conferred to local community members in 2003. Project has won numerous international awards (see attached document).
