  I started working at the BCHA 'Somewhere Safe to Stay' service when it began in September 2019. It is an 11-bed temporary accommodation which accommodates single adults and couples with complex needs. The service aims to support people to move on within a month into more permanent and suitable accommodation. This required innovative and creative working in order to achieve this target as well as providing a person-centred outcome.I was promoted to Senior Complex Needs Support Worker for the service which included additional management duties such as collecting the project's data, attending multi-agency meetings and supervising the project's support workers.
