I was lucky enough to shadow in the Department of Transport, following the Communications team headed by Wendy Fielder. I got to work with all members of the team, including those in charge of social media, and monitored the media coverage of the announcement of the suggested HS3 project. In addition, I sat in on briefings with the Secretary of State, the Rt. Hon. Patrick McLoughlin MP.
