      Mehdi is a Data Engineer, evolving in the Big Data ecosystem for more than 3 years. Among other things, he designed and developed real-time data processing applications on Spark and SparkML, as well as data ingestion and processing chains involving Nifi, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, HBase. His favorite programming languages are Python, Scala and lately NodeJS . He also masters the deployment, security and operational aspects of Big Data systems, in line with business expectations. He has deployed and maintained CDH clusters on-premise and public cloud infrastructure. He worked on a PoC in the Computer Vision field, specifically image segmentation through convolutional neural networks. Certified by Databricks, so he has focused his attention in the last months on Spark (again) : parsing, cleaning, exploring, and analysing datasets.
