Humanistic Integrative Counsellor

Oct 2013 - Sep 2017
In 2013 I volunteered as a Counsellor for a Mental Health organisation for 4 years whilst undergoing my training. I saw 3 clients per week for 8 sessions. A large proportion of referrals came from the NHS/IAPT. I saw clients with a number of issues ranging from depression, work related issues, stress, marital problems, relationship issues, phobias and a range of disorders. As my time with each client was very limited, I used a time-limited approach which would include a number of psychodynamic interventions and humanistic approaches. Show less
