Producing pricing pkgs & releasing them to sub-contractors & suppliers. Inputting returned quotations on to the pricing pkg C21 & highlighting abnormalities / items to note for the estimator, Inputting the builders discount & VAT • With the Estimator & Bid manager I assisted in the compilation of the bid documents & pre-qualifications using Microsoft Word / Excel and Visio, transferring all documents to a manageable PDF format. When requested by the QS/ project Team the BOQ must be completed, with extreme care taken when transferring figures from the computer printout to the hard copy. • When the bid was successful I had to prepare a full tender file for presenting to the project team. • For other bids I was responsible for archiving the files & managing the retention of these files to comply with our quality assurance system. • I had to assist the planning department & sites who required project related duties such as tender documents, Autocad dwgs, RFI, change orders etc • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive & constructive attitude, & for developing this attitude in others. • I had kept the Project Manager (PM) & others informed about project status & issues that may impact the client.
