Monitoring & providing the care to residents with several degrees of neurological impairments, residents that require mechanical ventilator, BIPAP, or CPAP support, residents that have specilaized nutrtional support from gastrostomy or jejunostomy tubes and mechanically altered diets. Responible for the admission and discharge documentation & coordination with families, hospitals & staff for long-term, short-term & post hospilization of residents. Respond to emergencies & delegate as needed to provide the care needed. Work closely with the multidiciplinary tearm of Doctors in Specialty Cinics, Social Services, Special Education Teachers, Occupational & Physical therapy departments to provide & carry over care needed.
