In 2013 my business partner, Raj Albuquerque, and I opened up the very first Futsal specific centre in Western Australia.Since a very young age I have been involved in Futsal, representing Australia at U17 level and Open mens. I have played in championship winning sides, coached and managed at state and international level and with the experience our Futsal centre has the expertise is unmatched by any other venue or organisation in the state. The WA State Futsal Centre provides the best coaching, development and opportunities for anyone of any level. There are also travel opportunities for coaches, managers, players and officials. WA State Futsal also has the premier Futsal league in the state, the WA State Futsal League. The only league that has developed Futsal clubs which now consist of male, female and junior Futsal only clubs. There are also now franchise opportunities within the league to help grow the sport and develop players. Expansion in only 3 years is now more real than first imagined.WE are Futsal and it doesn't get any better than this!

    • Pharmaceutical Sales Manager
      • Sep 2013 - Jun 2015

2 Years at Pfizer as a Sales manager working on Pfizer products when they come off patent to minimise market share loss. An extremely challenging role but very rewarding with many opportunities to develop other sales skills.

Moving on to one of the biggest Pharmaceutical companies in the world was a challenge but again the experience and extra sales courses that they put me through meant that the experience would be invaluable. My role was to minimise the market share drop once a product came off patent and due to my success at Nycomed I was just what the company was looking for. A short stint which lasted only 2 years still resulted in more awards and another National sales team award finishing top sales team for the country in 2014, only my second year in and a year after I opened up my own business as a silent partner. Juggling the two became too difficult to manage as my passion project of opening up the first Futsal centre in WA grew rapidly and unexpectedly needed me to move in to the business. My skills from this job only strengthened what I would be able to offer as I moved into running my own business.

      • 2008 - 2013

The Pharmaceutical industry was always of interest to me and without the experience it was hard to enter the market. I did the extra study required to gain a position at Nycomed and my sporting competitiveness earned me the respect of my colleagues as the role required some aggressive sales techniques along with some strong business account management strategies. The first year with Nycomed in their new division dealing with products coming off patent was challenging yet rewarding. I managed to continue my sales success records from CSA into the Pharmacy industry winning many awards and sales competitions.

Started at CSA as a merchandiser in Grocery for Schweppes then progressed to traditional route sales as a Territory Manager, Account Manager and then Corporate sales with Cadbury and Schweppes combined. Having worked for market leader Coca Cola it was more of a challenge to then move on and work for CSA to help grow market share and develop products exposure through marketing, networking and product acquisition with Red Bull and Pepsi. Corporate sales helped develop extra skills in sales and create networks at the highest level.
