      My responsibilities are making daily production planning and weekly shift planning also short and long term capacity planning, forecasting monthly – quarterly – annually inventory, arrange the shipment based on pick up sheet and customer needed.Customer fluctuation is the most critical part of the capacity plan. You must change and manage all the production and shipment plan. These changes cause lots of productioun losses and premium shipment. I compare all current and previous customer schedules and calculate the cost of these changes. Based on the agreement with customer the all cost can be claim to customer.I always keep in touch with team leaders of production lines to check the daliy production target and actual qty. If there is any loss, the reasons of that are checked and taken nesseccery actions to catch the target and to avoind the same losses.       SKT in Bursa has been given FORD Q1 and TUVNORD certification. Oli seals and vibration absorption parts are manufactured in here. SKT has got a very wide range of customers. Fifyt percent of the produtcs are exported to Europe, Asia, Africa… and the others are sold to major companies like FORD, TÜRK TRAKTÖR, HEMA, ARÇELİK, VESTEL,EGE FREN… There are three hundreds and sixty employes and three hundreds of them are blue-collar staff members who dependent on me. There are about five thousand different porducts, two thousand manufactured very month. I’m a Production and Planing Engineer. I control the manufacturing process. I check orders every day from IFS - which is a kind of ERP system - and I make plans for the following two days. The plan is sent every department. After planning, I go to the manufacturing area to check plans and to solve all the problems regarding the manufacturing process. Production process of oil seal or o ring is a chemical process based on vulcanization. To manage or control the process, you should know mold design, and set up of the presses, and all the production limits of the rubber and silicone. Show less
