Ekram Nafis worked as a mentor in the ENGG1000 - Introduction to Engineering Design and Innovation course for the second session in 2013 at the University of New South Wales. As a mentor his duties included; • Conduct mentoring sessions • Guide students in the planning process • Mark attendance • Prepare students for, and judge team presentations • Judge teams final design • Be available for consultation I found his work standards to be excellent, with good attention to detail. His technical expertise and problem solving skill were well above the standard required for motoring first year students. His communication and coaching skills were equally suited to the task. I would have no hesitation in engaging Ekram again for a similar role.

I had the pleasure of supervising Ekram who was an intern on my team. He is an incredibly sharp young man with great problem-solving skills and a keen eye towards the details. He helped us successfully deploy our 3G network and his hard work and dedication by working with our field engineers and partners greatly accelerated our effort. Wish him a bright future ahead.
