Started as a member in 2015, and in four years I became a leader of the Association. Science and providing innovation have always been a passion for me. Science Slam is an international project, which is series of offline events where people come to bars and nightclubs to listen to scientific lectures in a non-academic context. In 2014 I organised the very first science slam event in Khabarovsk city, which was attended by 400+ people. Since this time I've organised dozens of science slams and trained 100+ scientists to deliver their presentation. In 2019 I ran for the election to CEO position and members of the Association elected me. I managed 22 regional teams. Negotiated with partners, fundraised finance for regional teams. Organized internal developing and supporting events for teams (feedback calls, webinars, meetings, conferences). Organized the annual meeting of the Association. My main results of being a CEO are the following. First, I put gender balance in KPI’s system of Association. It helped achieve 30% female speakers in Science Slams events 2020, compared to 23% in 2019. Second, I engaged 80% of teams into organizing online projects during the Covid 19 pandemic. As a result, our teams have gained strong skills in running online projects that allowed us to get a large grant from a non-profit government organization for Internet initiatives. Due to this financial support, we organized more than 11 online events involving an audience of thousands and dozens of scientists all over the world. I was proud that through this development, we did not just survive, we also reached a new level of resilience as an organisation. Show less

My position was a guest consultant. The request was to create and implement a competence model for key employees in the Center (group leaders who work with kids and teenagers). I changed the hiring process of key employees and created a new system of employee motivation which included a system of goals setting known as OKR (objective key results). Involved top management in a project. Launched engagement survey: organized 10+ focus group interviews, strategy session for top management, 20+ coach supporting meetings and workshops for key employees, led a conference with 100+ participants where new employees learned the new system of personal goals setting for their work with kids. One of the results of this project was a unique competency model for employees who work with kids and should have a high level of emotional intelligence. Show less
