In my role as LTU's event coordinator, I have been fortunate enough to draw upon Eilidh's expertise as a student ambassador and an Alumni intern in the delivery of our series of Inaugural Professorial Lectures. At each of these events, Eilidh was able to demonstrate her excellent temperament and strong knowledge of event management by quickly troubleshooting any issues that came her way with little to no supervision. She has been a real asset to our team and her presence at all of our upcoming events will be missed.

Eilidh is one of the most talented students I have ever worked with. I first met her when she was a student ambassador working at events, and I was immediately impressed with her interpersonal skills, professionalism and hard work. She has an incredible knack of being able to deal with anyone and everyone in such a brilliant way. I was very fortunate when Eilidh chose to do an internship with me in the Alumni Office. She gave an incredible interview and we were absolutely delighted to be able to utilise her as a colleague for a few months before she completes her course in summer 2022. We were able to throw her in straight away to work at VIP events and entrust her to look after some of our biggest stakeholders. Eilidh has worked as a student ambassador on many occasions and has an incredible skill set. I couldn't recommend her higher and whoever gets to work with her on a permanent basis will be very fortunate. She has incredible skills in marketing in so many areas including - dealing with people, being front of house at events, admin skills, networking, enthusing others to attend Leeds Trinity and working in a busy marketing office.

I took on a role within the university as a student research associate for my final year. This role revolved around key goals the university wanted to achieve and us as students getting involved to get feedback on these and improve the student experience.

I have worked as a student ambassador throughout my 3 years at university. This job has allowed me to work events both on and off campus- I even got to travel to Ireland to represent the University. I have learnt a lot from this role and have gained a lot of confidence in my abilities.

    • Student Intern

I worked as a student intern in the alumni department at Leeds Trinity University during my final year whilst completing my degree. This internship provided me with many key skills and opportunities I would not have otherwise had. I was able to build a professional network which will continue to support me. I also secured full-time employment whilst completing this internship which is due to the skills and experience I acquired throughout this opportunity.

I worked at Primark initially part time on weekends and then full time for just over a year once I left college. I gained a lot of confidence from this role as I was given more responsibility the longer I had worked there for.
