My wife and I got married on October 19th 2012. One night we drove by Ethan Allen Hotel and thought we would take a peek and see if it was an option for us. The second we walked in instantly loved the feel of the place and the staff was very welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting an amazing woman w...ho is the wedding Coordinator for the Ethan Allen Hotel named Eileen Whitney-Cabral. We sat and talked to her for a while and by the time we left that night we felt like we knew her for years. The kind of person who cares about you and your big day and just from the convo we had we knew she had been in the business for years and was going to do a great job. Because it was only the second place we looked at we continued to look around and saw a few other places but we kept going back to the Ethan Allen Hotel and comparing the people we were meeting to Eileen. No one even came close. We then decided to do a Food tasting at Ethan Allen Hotel which was out of this world and for my large Italian family food is almost more important than the wedding itself! Eileen also let us know about the renovations on the entire hotel that would be done before our wedding day. This excited us even more to know that the place we liked already was going to be updated completely from walls and carpets to Chandeliers and sliverware. Through the process Eileen was not only the most professional voice in our planning with quick response to emails and calls and making herself available for drop in meetings but was the sweetest person when it came to caring about our day and making it the best it could be. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to make their wedding day a worry free experience that you will never forget to drop in and just give Eileen 10 minutes of your time. It was the best thing we did in planning for our special day.
