During my time working at/for Senior Services for South Sound I got to know the dierctor of this agency quite well. She was not like other directors I have had in the past as Eileen would would make time to visit and become involved in the many programs that that our agency ran. She was never a director to sit on the sidelines and have someone else do "all" of the the supervision. She actively became involved (without over stepping her authority) and was truly interested in her staff and even made the dreaded month staff meetings fun and enjoyable. Anyone who wants a chance to see how true leadership works...needs to be a staff member under the care and tutelage of Eileen McKenzie-Sullivan.
