  Professional ambition is to strengthen the capacity of the NGO to bring back life to the Bauska downtown neighborhood, where 50% of the buildings and territories are unused. Work on spatial development planning tools and solutions to prevent socially unfavorable conditions and to enable the unique historical potential of the Bauska Old Town for strong local economy, incl. tourism. As the member of the board I have been mandated to facilitate Collaborative Environment (local people, entrepreneurs, municipality) to manage the neighborhood according to the people's needs and strengthen the assets of the territory. Various local cooperation projects are being implemented, knowledge sharing and experience exchange organized, expertise on urban planning and regeneration provided. Show less
