  In this position, I recruited, trained, and led a team of 40 high-performing contractor engineers of a major power system division design cell workforce group for this Fortune 50 company. I managed the full lifecycle completion and delivery of more than 200 design and analysis projects using for various engine groups, including core engine simulation, fuel systems, air systems, drivetrain, and electronics. In addition, I developed scripts for easier and more effective post-processing using Python, led NVH CAE activities during design and development processes to correlate with bench tests, and advanced crash impact analysis techniques for various product groups. Some notable achievements are:  Resolving a $10M+ warranty issue and gave Caterpillar a competitive advantage in the market by performing highly complex thermal nonlinear analysis on V-band clamps in the exhaust lines to create the first detailed simulation model to predict failure, resulting in a patent application award.  Optimizing team performance by coaching and mentoring less experienced engineers to develop computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and FEA background.  Increasing efficiency and productivity by implementing continuous improvements based on Six Sigma methodology.  Driving brand awareness and business growth by developing efficient business plans and coordinating marketing events, which included booth design, marketing materials, and effective audiovisuals.  Receiving a team recognition award in 2013 and an outstanding performance trophy in 2014 and presented at the 2016 Caterpillar AST Forum Conference as a technical expert in the simulation of core engine components.
