Internal Auditor (SouthEast Region) ▪ Ensure Regional compliance with the approved policies and procedures developed and determined in the Head office for the various functions of Visafone. ▪ Collection and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, waste, or non compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. ▪ Examine daily reports sent to management by East/South regions. ▪ Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. ▪ Track receipts of stocks issued from Central/Regional warehouse to various Shops/Mini-Shop under the East & South regions via daily Shop/ Mini-Shop Sales & Inventory report. ▪ Verify validity and completeness of daily revenue lodgments to bank and investigate any discrepancies. ▪ Review bulk sales transactions with partners(dealers) for proper accounting and revenue assurance. ▪ Carry out weekly review of float payments and expenses for compliance with approved policy on Regional Float administration and list of qualifying petty cash transactions. ▪ Examine inventory movement and verify accuracy of data/ journal and ledger entries on Sage Line500. ▪ Compare computer printouts (SAGE and MDRMS) to manually maintained journal to determine if they match. ▪ Analyze and monitor diesel supplies, issues, distribution and consumption for all identified sites. ▪ Carry out spot checks and produce a report of findings. ▪ Notify Shop and Mini-Shop Consultants, Warehouse Storekeeper and other personnel responsible for generating reports on exceptions and follow up to ensure timely correction.
